Tom Keisling Announces Candidacy for Lubbock City Council (KCBD News)
Hello,
I am Tom Keisling, and I am running for Lubbock City Council, District 4. As your Councilman, I will bring a common-sense approach to the fiscal, legal, and political issues that we are facing now, as well as any that we may face in the future. My no-nonsense style has already helped me to succeed in business ventures for over 30 years in Lubbock, and I am confident that the same approach can benefit this great city of ours.
My wife, Debbie, and I have lived in, contributed to, and benefited from the City of Lubbock for many years. Debbie actually retired from Lubbock’s police force in February of 2007, after 20 years of service, and I sold my automotive equipment business of 25 years last year as well. Now, I would like to dedicate even more time and service to the community, and by electing me to the District 4 City Council, you would give me the opportunity to server the city that I know and love.
I pledge to honor your vote by working as a catalyst for teamwork, by bringing people together to tackle the city’s issues, regardless of our differences.
I pledge to honor your vote by representing District 4 as a fiscal conservative with an open door to all those I will server.
I pledge to honor your vote by committing myself to the city’s success, just as I have done in business for over 30 successful years.
I hope you will vote for me for Lubbock City Council, District 4 – vote for Tom Keisling, vote for Lubbock.
Remember, early voting begins Tuesday, April 22, 2008 and ends Saturday, May 3. The general election is Saturday, May 10.
Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Tom Keisling
Candidate
Lubbock City Council
District 4
